The 1997 Survey of Education and Training CURF contains 22,704 confidentialised respondent records. The data items on the file will include Age, Sex, Marital status, Birthplace, Year of arrival, Language first spoken, Whether had a disability, Occupation, Earnings, Organisation which provided vocational education or training, Educational qualifications, Current study, Work history, Training courses completed, Whether course was government sponsored, Employer financial support for the course, Whether course helped obtain a promotion, Whether enrolled for, but did not complete a course, Study for a qualification in the last 5 years, Reasons for non-completed qualifications, and Intended future study. In addition, a range of pre-defined populations will be included to assist in analysing the data.
