Australian Bureau of Statistics
Microdata access is priced in accordance with ABS Pricing Policy and Commonwealth Cost Recovery Guidelines.
ABS determines the size of an organisation based on employment in accordance with the definitions provided in 1321.0 - Small Business publication. Individuals not associated with an organisation can also subscribe to microdata services. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for prices and further information.
How to pay
You can add data series to your organisation's annual subscription at any time of year. Contact email@example.com for further information.
An invoice will be emailed to the organisation following approval by ABS of the microdata application. Once payment is received, then access is granted.
Staff and students of universities participating in the ABS/Universities Australia Agreement will not be invoiced. This is because Universities Australia has paid for access on behalf of participating universities.
How to apply
To apply for TableBuilder products and Census DataPacks, register and apply through the Registration Centre.
To apply for Basic and Expanded CURFs, register and apply through MiCRO. Expanded CURFs are accessed via the Remote Access Data Laboratory (RADL).
