RISK
This element describes the actual and perceived level of risk or likelihood of FDV occurring. That is, the likelihood of being a victim or and offender. It includes community, individual and sub-population group level indicators of risk.
COMMUNITY PREVALENCE
This is the number of people in the relevant population who have experienced FDV at least once. This may be recorded or estimated for a given period, since a given age, or as a lifetime experience. Prevalence rates can relate to victims or offenders.
