In addition, it contains synthesised data items relating to episodes of labour market support provided by the Department of Employment, Education, Training and Youth Affairs and income support provided by the Department of Social Security.

The Australians' Employment and Unemployment Patterns 1994-97 Expanded CURF contains information on people's labour market activity, their training and job offers and a wide range of socio-demographic information, for the period September 1994 to September 1997.

The Survey of Employment and Unemployment Patterns (SEUP) was a longitudinal survey conducted in three waves covering the period September 1994 to September 1997. The objectives of the survey were to provide information on the dynamics of the Australian labour market and to help assess the impact of labour market assistance initiatives in alleviating joblessness in Australia. There were 7,019 respondents for the third wave of the survey.

The Basic CURF is available on CD-ROM or via the ABS Remote Access Data Laboratory (RADL). The Expanded CURF is only available via the RADL.
