Provides confidentialised unit record data on disability status, need for assistance and provision of care, for all persons in selected households and selected persons in health establishments. Details are provided on: difficulty or need for assistance in ten common activities of daily living, education and employment restrictions, receipt of assistance, specific impairments and underlying health conditions; the ability of older people to carry out activities such as housework, meal preparation and transport; and the experience and impact of caring for people with severe or profound restrictions. All records have relevant standard demographic, labour force and other socio-economic details.
