Main tasks

- Fits and assembles metal parts and subassemblies according to engineering specifications
- Checks fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance, and fit using precision measuring instruments
- Tests and adjusts completed machines and equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Performs operational maintenance of machinery
