Statistical Collections Tabled in Parliament
Under the Australian Bureau of Statistics Act 1975: sub-section 6 (3) the ABS is required to table proposals for the collection of statistical information in both Houses of Parliament unless the proposal is for the collection of information on a voluntary basis. The below proposals show all statistical collections tabled from 2020. Statistical collections tabled prior to 2020 are available via the tabled papers search on the Australian Parliament House website.
