Changes in this issue

Improvements have been made to the process that splits the jobs data by status in employment and sex. While the total number of filled or main jobs has not been impacted, revisions will be evident across the full time series for data by sex, data by status in employment and for the cross-classification of these two variables. For males, the revisions result in more full-time and less part-time jobs, while for females the opposite is observed with more part-time and fewer full-time jobs. There has been minimal impact on the period to period percentage movements and the historical story remains consistent.

Refer to methodology section for more information.
