Classification search
OSCA search appears above the content on every page of OSCA. Search results will be based on partial or exact matches of OSCA identifiers, principal titles, alternative titles or specialisations.
For example:
- searching for the word ‘manager’ will return every result where ‘manager’ appears in the principal title, alternative title or specialisation – for example, ‘manager’, ‘managers’, ‘farmers and farm managers’
- searching for the number ‘13’ will return every result where ‘13’ appears in the identifier – for example, 131, 1330, 2213.
The search results are displayed in identifier order on a separate page. Each result displays as a link to the corresponding page in this product.
Multipage search
Under the ‘Sections’ heading in the left navigation menu, the multipage ‘Search this release’ tool is available. This search tool provides a general search of all content in this product including Data downloads.
Each search result returns:
- the section title – links to the page
- the page title
- a preview of the content of the page – the searched term is bolded if it is present in the preview.
The search results will be displayed on a separate page and ordered by relevance.
