Australia

  • Skill Level 4: AQF Certificate II, AQF Certificate III, or at least one year of relevant experience

New Zealand

  • Skill Level 4: NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification, or at least one year of relevant experience

Main tasks

  • Drives a coach to transport passengers on scheduled services
  • Adheres to established routes and schedules
  • Assists passengers with boarding and disembarking the coach
  • Collects fares, issues tickets to passengers, and monitors an automated ticketing machine
  • Provides information and assistance to passengers regarding routes, schedules, and destinations
  • Communicates with dispatch or control centre to report any delays or incidents
  • Adheres to road safety regulations and legislation, including the completion of relevant log books
