• Skill Level 4: AQF Certificate II, AQF Certificate III, or at least one year of relevant experience

New Zealand

• Skill Level 4: NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification, or at least one year of relevant experience

• Provides routine and non-emergency transportation of patients to and from health care facilities
• Transports essential equipment and materials, including wheelchairs and stretchers
• Provides and administers basic care to non-emergency patients
• Maintains comprehensive and accurate patient transport records
• Works with patients, relatives, health professionals, and other emergency service providers to ensure optimal patient care
