  • Implements prevention programs and strategies for communicable diseases, food safety, wastewater treatment and disposal systems, recreation and domestic water quality, and any contaminated or hazardous substances
  • Conducts inspections and investigations for legislative compliance with environmental health standards
  • Provides advice on environmental health issues
