PROGRAMS, EVALUATION & RESEARCH
This element refers to activities that can occur to aid understanding of FDV and/or intervene to reduce its prevalence in the future. It includes the development and operation of specialised FDV education and prevention programs. These can be targeted at the general community, professional community, specific victims or offenders, particular service sectors/disciplines, early intervention, identifying the circumstances in which FDV may occur or influencing attitudinal and behavioural change. Also included are data sources that evaluate interventions; their delivery, efficacy and utility.
Collection and reporting of data about program objectives, activities, deliverables , client numbers and profiles, costs and outcomes, may be part of the arrangements negotiated by funding agencies.
