Report a Security Vulnerability Form Collection Notice
This Collection Notice explains the collection of personal information by the Australian Bureau of Statistics through the ‘Report a Security Vulnerability’ Web Form. The voluntary web form aims to provide you with an additional way of contacting the ABS if you have found a security vulnerability in one of the Australian Bureau of Statistics services.
Purpose for which information is collected
In order to contact you about your reported vulnerability we will collect the following personal information:
- your email address.
We may also collect the following personal information if you choose to provide it:
- name.
Use and disclosures
We will only use your personal information to contact you about your enquiry. We will not share your details with anyone outside the ABS. Please see the ABS Privacy Policy for more information.
Storage and security of personal information
Personal information is stored in the secure ABS environment and managed in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles and the requirements of the ABS's legislative framework.
We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Archives Act 1983 in the storage, use and destruction of your personal information collected for managing and operating our business.
