Building Approvals Survey

Provides building approval information collected from approving authorities such as Commonwealth, State and Local Governments and organisations that have building approval authority such as the Sydney 2000 Olympic Committee and universities.

Data items collected include:
• number of dwelling units approved
• value of new residential building approvals (houses and other residential)
• value of alterations and additions to residential buildings
• value of non-residential building approvals by class of building (hotels, offices, shops etc)
