Accessing ABS Products and Services
The ABS provides a range of products and services designed to deliver statistical information to you. Staff are available to provide advice on a wide range of statistical publications, products and services available from the ABS as well as alternative sources of information.

INFORMATION CONSULTANCY SERVICE
|
The ABS provides an information consultancy service for both published and unpublished information needs, ranging from a simple inquiry to a specialised in-depth data investigation. Data that are already published and can be provided within 5 minutes are free of charge. Otherwise the service operates on a fee-for-service basis.
Information is provided in the format of your choice which may be a hard copy report, computer diskette or compact disc. For more information, please contact our Consultancy Services team in your State or Territory.

ABS BOOKSHOPS AND LIBRARIES
|
ABS bookshops sell all publications released by the ABS which are currently in print. You may purchase a publication in person or you may phone or fax to order a publication using your Bankcard, Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit card.
ABS libraries are available for public reference and operate on a 'self-help' basis. However, ABS librarians are able to assist if required. For touch dial phones, this number gives 24-hour access, 365 days a year, to the most recent statistics relating to important economic indicators including Consumer Price Index, Balance of Payments, National Accounts, Labour Force Estimates, Average Weekly Earnings and Population Estimates.

The ABS provides a subscription service for you to access ABS publications on a regular basis. With a subscription, you receive your choice of publication directly through the mail. To subscribe to ABS publications, you order in advance on an annual basis and you may amend your subscription any time and include new products as they become available.

LIBRARY EXTENSION PROGRAM
|
