The 16th Census of Population and Housing will take place on the night of 9 August 2011. This marks a significant milestone - 100 years of national Census taking in Australia.

In July 2011, 40,000 Census Collectors will begin delivering Census forms to every household in Australia. The Census counts everyone in Australia on Census night, (9 August, 2011) wherever they are.
In 2011 you will be able to fill in your Census form online via the eCensus. | |
