Opportunities are available in Central Office and some Regional Offices around Australia.

Business Management, Commerce, Communication, Econometrics, Humanities, Information Management, Librarianship, Market Research, Project Management, Psychology, Social Sciences and Web Design and Development.


Integrated Collection and Dissemination Services Division (ICDSD) is the public face of the ABS with important roles in building relationships with our providers and users of statistics. We build key relationships with ABS household and business data providers and users of statistical information..

We aspire to lead the world's best practice in the efficient and effective collection and communication of statistical information. We work with other business areas of the ABS in order to achieve these goals

What you will be doing


ICDSD offers a diverse range of work such as:
  • working on the ABS website, designing pages and conducting usability testing;
  • engaging the community through a range of channels and championing an understanding of our customers to the organisation;
  • liaising with clients to understand their data needs;
  • researching client data requests;
  • e-Communication of ABS information and products;
  • building on information management skills; and
  • working on budgets and planning.
