2016 Census Topic Consultation closing soon20 May 2013 There is still an opportunity to have your say in shaping the 2016 Census. With 71 submissions received so far about the content of the 2016 Census (as of 3 May, 2013), the submission process will close on Friday, 31 May 2013. The ABS opened the public consultation process in November 2012 outlining the initial ABS views on topics and procedures for the 2016 Census. Following the assessment of all submissions, final recommendations on the nature and content of the 2016 Census will be discussed with the Australian Statistics Advisory Council in late 2013.
