In the 2006 Census (held on 8th August 2006), there were 361 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people usually resident in Bega Valley (A) - Rem, 51.5% were male and 48.5% were female.

In the 2006 Census, 42.4% of the population usually resident in Bega Valley (A) - Rem were Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander children aged 0-14 years, 10.5% were aged 55 years and over and the median age was 18 years.

Language diversity

Employment
