The ABS has conducted regular surveys of Persons Not in the Labour Force, Australia (cat. no. 6220.0) since 1975. In the past, these survey results have generally only been published at the Australia level. This is the first publication containing detailed information on persons not In the labour force for New South Wales and regions of New South Wales. This publication also contains detailed information on the labour force aspirations of persons not in the Iabour force and, if appropriate, their reasons tor not actively looking tor work and their availability for work.
