CDATA 2001 - Quickbuild contains reduced GIS software functionality when compared to that available in CDATA 2001 - Full GIS, but with complete access to all statistical and boundary data. Users are able to quickly select the geography and data they need to produce reports, thematic maps, graphs or data views. CDATA 2001 - Quickbuild allows for the export of statistical data for use in other applications.
CDATA 2001 - Quickbuild includes a basic base map layer containing major roads, rivers and railways. The more complex GIS facilities such as SQL, importing of external data, geocoding and point creation is not available in CDATA 2001 - Quickbuild. However, the ABS offers an upgrade path for users of this product to upgrade to the full GIS version at a later stage.
