Tasmanians recorded the highest rates in Australia for diseases of the circulatory system; diseases of the digestive system; diseases of the skin and subcutaneous tissue; diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective tissue (including arthritis and rheumatism); and congenital malformations, deformations and chromosomal abnormalities. Tasmanians recorded the lowest rates in Australia for diseases of the genito-urinary system; and endocrine, nutritional and metabolic diseases.
