• In original terms, February 2015 imports on an international merchandise trade basis were $20,019m, a decrease of $642m (3%) on the revised January 2015 merchandise imports of $20,661m.

• Preliminary analysis shows that goods debits (imports) on a balance of payments basis in original terms fell $802m (4%) between January and February 2015.
• In seasonally adjusted terms, goods debits rose $454m (2%) between January and February 2015 to $23,334m. Intermediate and other merchandise goods rose $284m (3%), consumption goods rose $192m (3%) and non–monetary gold rose $96m (36%). Capital goods fell $117m (2%).

• Revisions have been made to the previous six months to incorporate the latest administrative data relating to international merchandise trade.
• The preliminary balance of payments debits estimates incorporate the latest available data.
