ABOUT THIS RELEASE
Measures the stock of persons with selected qualifications and/or in selected occupations in Australia in 2001. Analyses selected characteristics of that stock. Data sources are the Population Censuses, the Labour Mobility survey February 2002, the Migration survey 2001-02, the Department of Education, Science and Training publication Students 2001, Selected Higher Education Statistics and the National Centre for Vocational Education Research national VET data collection. Variables tabulated include occupation and qualification level cross-classified by sex and age; labour force status, qualification field, industry, income, year completed qualification, duration of job and job mobility.
