YOUTH For youth victims, males aged 15 to 19 recorded a victimisation rate for robbery of 346 victims per 100,000 males aged 15 to 19 years; the overall rate for males was 90 victims per 100,000 males. For females, there were 84 victims of robbery per 100,000 females aged 15 to 19 years, compared with 28 victims per 100,000 females. As with sexual assault, the highest victimisation rate for kidnapping/abduction was recorded for those aged 10 to 14 years. There were 7 male victims per 100,000 males aged 10 to 14 years (compared with an overall rate of 2 male victims per 100,000 males), and 12 female victims per 100,000 females aged 10 to 14 years (compared with an overall rate of 3 female victims per 100,000 females).
