At the end of September 2009, there were 2.3 million tonnes of wheat grain committed for domestic use within Australia or for export, a decrease of 653 thousand tonnes from last month.

Of the total wheat grain committed in Australia, 1.6 million tonnes was contracted for export and 706 thousand tonnes for domestic use.
