Most States reported decreased export commitments in October 2010 compared to the previous month, with only South Australia increasing by 20% to 1.1 million tonnes. None the less, total export commitments in October 2010 were more than triple those for October 2009. The amount of wheat grain committed for domestic use in October 2010 was double that of the previous month, increasing to 1.1 million tonnes. This was 60% higher than October 2009.
