WHEAT GRAIN COMMITTED

At the end of November 2009, 2.9 million tonnes of wheat grain was committed for domestic use within Australia or for export, an increase of 922 thousand tonnes from the previous month.

Of the total wheat grain committed, 1.5 million tonnes was contracted for export and 1.4 million tonnes for domestic use at the end of November 2009. Compared to November 2008, total wheat grain contracted for export was 1% lower, and total wheat grain contracted for domestic use was 7% higher.
