WHEAT GRAIN STORED

Total wheat grain stored by bulk grain handlers, growers and users at the end of June 2011 was 14.7 million tonnes.

Wheat grain stored by bulk grain handlers at the end of June 2011 was 13.4 million tonnes, of which 7.3 million tonnes (54%) was graded for milling and 6.1 million tonnes (46%) graded for feed.

Wheat grain growers and users stored 1.3 million tonnes of wheat grain at the end of June 2011, which was a decrease of 557 thousand tonnes from May 2011. Despite the poor harvest conditions, this year's total was 26 thousand tonnes more than in June 2010.
