LIVESTOCK SLAUGHTERING AND MEAT PRODUCTION Between August 2009 and August 2010, the trend estimate for total meat production for Victoria increased by 3167.3 tonnes (5.8%). The production of Mutton and Veal decreased by 24.4% and 11.3% respectively, while increases were recorded for Pig meat (33.8%), Beef (9.8%) and Lamb (1.2%) over the same period.
