CHANGE TO COUNTRY LABEL

From this issue there is a label change for China as shown:

	Country			New label
	China			China (excluding SARs and Taiwan)

This change impacts on statistics in publication table 14 and time series spreadsheet tables 14a, 14b, 36a-36j and 37a-37i in this publication. Time series IDs remain the same. International merchandise trade data available on request are also affected. This change only applies to the label and does not impact the composition of the country data.


ONGOING IMPROVEMENT TO SEASONAL ADJUSTMENT OF THE COAL, COKE AND BRIQUETTES GOODS CREDITS SERIES

As part of the ongoing improvement to the seasonal adjustment of the coal, coke and briquettes goods credits series, an abrupt change to the seasonal pattern has been identified at January 2012 and taken into account. For further details on seasonally adjusted and trend estimates, please see paragraphs 16-20 of the Explanatory Notes.
