ABS Data Quality Framework The Australian Bureau of Statistics Data Quality Framework (ABS DQF) provides the standards for assessing and reporting on the quality of statistical information. It is a tool which improves a user's ability to:

Furthermore, it provides an explanation of each of the seven dimensions of the framework, followed by a discussion to assist data users and producers to apply the framework. The ABS Data Quality Framework is designed for use by a range of data users and providers in different setting, including government agencies, statistical agencies and independent research agencies. ABS Surveys Charter The ABS Surveys Charter, 2010 (cat. no. 1008.0) was released in March 2010. This Charter specifies what you can expect when the ABS approaches you for inclusion in any of our household or business surveys. The ABS seeks to continually improve our relationship with survey participants, and would appreciate your feedback in relation to any contact you have with the ABS, and on the standards identified in this Charter in particular. Newsletter Subscriptions The ABS Email Notification Service enables you to register your interest to receive email alerts on updates to crime and justice releases as well as other ABS topics. This service is free and allows you to keep up to date with the latest ABS information without having to regularly check the ABS website. After you have filled out the form on the Create/Update Subscriptions page, you will receive a confirmation email.
