The next issue of Sports and Physical Recreation: A Statistical Overview, Australia (cat. no. 4156.0) will be released in December this year. The publication provides users with a comprehensive range of sports and physical recreation statistics ranging from participation rates to sport and physical recreation product data.
It is worth noting that much of the employment data within the publication was based on the 2006 Census. The release of the 2011 Census data relating to occupation and industry of employment in October will mean that data in Chapter 8 (Employment) will be refreshed in the publication.
Other updates will be made to Chapter 10 (Facilities) and Chapter 12 (Products).
