Economic Releases
Wage and Salary Earner Statistics for Small Areas, Time Series, 2003-04 to 2006-07 (cat. no. 5673.0.55.003)
These data cubes contain various cross-tabulations of the characteristics of wage and salary earners such as age, sex, occupation and wage and salary income for the years 2003-04 to 2006-07. Most of the data in these tables are presented for each Statistical Local Area (SLA) and Local Government Area (LGA) in Australia. These data have been compiled from the Australian Taxation Office's Database.
Working Time Arrangements, Australia, November 2009 (cat. no. 6342.0)
This publication provides information about paid employees (excluding payment in kind and contributing family workers) aged 15 years and over and their working arrangements, such as shift work, overtime, rostered days off and start and finish times. Among the topics covered are full-time/part-time status, industry, occupation, hours worked, overtime or extra hours worked, job scheduling, days worked and information about core employment benefits, such as leave entitlements.
Experimental Estimates for the Manufacturing Industry, 2006-07 and 2007-08 (cat. no. 8159.0)
This information paper contains experimental estimates for the Australian manufacturing industry for the 2006--07 and 2007--08 reference periods. The experimental estimates presented here use a combination of data directly collected in ABS surveys and data sourced from the Australian Tax Office (ATO). Modelling techniques are applied to combine these two data sources in order to produce experimental estimates at the ANZSIC class level. The data items are wages and salaries, sales and service income and industry value added (IVA).
Australian Industry, 2008-09 (cat. no. 8155.0)
This publication presents estimates derived using a combination of data from the Economic Activity Survey and business tax data sourced from the Australian Tax Office. For most industry divisions and subdivisions (ANZSIC), 2006 edition), estimates at a national level are presented of: income; expenses; industry value added; operating profit before tax; capital expenditure; and selected components of these aggregates and derivations. State/territory estimates of income, employment, and wages and salaries, at the division level are also included.

These articles contain information on the energy efficiency of Australian homes. The articles focus on housing characteristics, the selection and use of appliances and the use of renewable energy in Australian homes to build a picture of household energy efficiency.
Water Use on Australian Farms, 2008-09 (cat. no. 4618.0)
This publication presents estimates of agricultural water use, including pastures and crops irrigated, irrigation water sources, irrigation methods, irrigation water management and irrigation expenditure and assets. Data are available for a range of sub-state geographic levels, including Natural Resource Management (NRM) region, Statistical Division (SD) and Murray-Darling Basin (MDB).

Population Characteristics, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians, South Australia, 2006 (cat. no. 4713.4.55.001)
Presents around 50 tables of information on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians for South Australia based on the 2006 Census. Topics covered in the national report and sets of tables for Australia and each State/Territory include: the demographic and geographic distribution of the population and its growth in recent years; mobility; household composition; language and religion; education; work; income; housing and transport; and need for assistance.
