Table 2 in the data cube presents estimates of labour costs for the Australian Mining industry during 2011-12.
During the reference period, the Australian Mining industry incurred $27.0b in total labour costs of which Coal mining and Exploration and other mining support services accounted for 26.1% (or $7.0b) and 21.5% (or $5.8b), respectively.
Wages and salaries represented 87.3% (or $23.6b) of total labour costs for the Mining industry.
