LIVESTOCK SLAUGHTERING AND MEAT PRODUCTION Between November 2009 and November 2010, the trend estimate for total meat production for Victoria increased by 2219.9 tonnes (4.2%). The production of Veal and Mutton decreased by 25.8% and 25.2% respectively, while increases were recorded for Pig meat (33.2%) and Beef (7.1%) over the same period.
