All interviews were conducted by trained ABS officers. Extensive reference material was developed for use in the field enumeration and intensive training was provided to interviewers in both classroom and on-the-job environments. However, there remain other factors which may have affected the reliability of results, and for which no specific adjustments can be made. This chapter provides information on the following: Sampling error; Non-sampling error: Age standardisation; Comparison to the 2008 NATSISS; and Comparison to other ABS sources.
