DESCRIPTION

The Sexual Assault Resource Centre (SARC) is the emergency sexual assault (rape crisis) service for Perth, Western Australia. The Sexual Assault Resource Centre Medical Services Clinical Information System (SARC-MSCIS) is a database management system that collates the sexual assault data for clients that are referred to SARC.

The purpose of the SARC-MSCIS is to provide a data management system that maintains accurate and high-quality information on all medical and forensic components of sexual or indecent assault cases referred to SARC, which would allow audit and evaluation of the services provided by SARC clinicians and facilitate future peer-reviewed research.
