This section provides a detailed examination of the key characteristics of persons who experienced each of the crime types covered in this survey, such as age and sex, as well as key characteristics of the most recent incident experienced, such as location and the relationship of the offender to the victim. In addition, the extent of multiple victimisation experienced for each crime type is examined. Changes in key estimates from previous survey periods are also discussed. Comparisons from previous survey periods have only been included where there is a statistically significant difference between the variables being compared.
