HIGH CENSUS NIGHT RATIOS, SOUTH AUSTRALIA: ADELAIDE CENSUS NIGHT AND USUAL RESIDENT POPULATIONS, by Age and Sex, Adelaide, South Australia, 2011
The Census Night ration for the LGA of Adelaide was 136. For males it was 140 and for females it was 132. Adelaide shares the "Christmas tree" shape of other high Census Night ratio capital cities, with a relatively small base of persons under the age of 20 years, and a large number of people aged 20 and 29 years. From 30 years and over, both the Census Night and usual resident population shrinks as age increases.
