Contents Wheat grain stored Wheat grain exported Wheat grain committed About this Release	Wheat grain exported The total of wheat grain exported in August 2012 was 2.2 million tonnes which was 815 thousand tonnes (or 59%) more than August 2011. Wheat grain exports in August 2012 were down by 59 thousand tonnes (or 3%) since July 2012 (revised). Western Australia contributed 788 thousand tonnes which accounted for 36% of national wheat grain exports. Annotation(s): (a) The end of September is used to represent the closing stocks of wheat grain prior to the commencement of the next harvest period (October to September).
