Contents Wheat grain stored Wheat grain exported Wheat grain committed About this Release	Wheat grain exported Wheat grain exports were up 301 thousand tonnes in April 2012 which was a rise of 15% from March 2012 (revised). The total of wheat grain exported in April 2012 was 2.4 million tonnes. This was the second largest amount of wheat grain exported in a month within the last nine years. Western Australia contributed 806 thousand tonnes which accounted for 34% of national wheat grain exports. Annotation(s): (a) The end of September is used to represent the closing stocks of wheat grain prior to the commencement of the next harvest period (October to September). Indonesia and Viet Nam each imported 237 thousand and 218 thousand tonnes of Australian wheat grain exports respectively in March 2012.
