Beef:
Beef production in the September quarter 2013 increased by 2% when compared to the previous quarter, to a record 589,000 tonnes.

Veal:
Veal production in the September quarter 2013 decreased by less than 1% to 10,000 tonnes when compared to the June quarter 2013.

Mutton:
In the September quarter 2013, mutton production increased by 8% to 59,400 tonnes, compared to the previous quarter.

Lamb:
Lamb production in the September quarter 2013 increased by 1% to a record 117,000 tonnes when compared to the June quarter 2013.

Pig meat:
In the September quarter 2013, pig meat production increased by less than 1% to 91,400 tonnes, compared to the previous quarter.

Total red meat:
Total red meat production increased by 2% to 867,000 tonnes in the September quarter 2013 when compared to the June quarter 2013.

Chicken meat:
Chicken meat production increased by 2% to 271,000 tonnes when compared to the previous quarter.
