Beef:
Beef production in the March quarter 2013 increased by 2% to 556,000 tonnes when compared to the previous quarter.

Veal:
Veal production in the March quarter 2013 increased by 3% to 9,900 tonnes when compared to the December quarter 2012.

Mutton:
In the March quarter 2013, mutton production increased by 13% to 47,200 tonnes, compared to the previous quarter.

Lamb:
Lamb production in the March quarter 2013 increased by 1% to 115,000 tonnes when compared to the December quarter 2012.

Pig meat:
In the March quarter 2013, pig meat production increased by 1% to 89,000 tonnes, compared to the previous quarter.

Total red meat:
Total red meat production increased by 2% to 817,000 tonnes in the March quarter 2013 when compared to the December quarter 2012.

Chicken meat:
Chicken meat production decreased by 1% to 259,000 tonnes when compared to the previous quarter.
