Beef:
Beef production in March quarter 2014 increased by 2% over the previous quarter, to a record 615,000 tonnes.

Veal:
Veal production in March quarter 2014 rose by 2% to 10,800 tonnes when compared to December quarter 2013.

Mutton:
In March quarter 2014, mutton production increased by 2% to 58,300 tonnes.

Lamb:
Lamb production in March quarter 2014 increased by 1% to a record 120,000 tonnes.

Pig meat:
In March quarter 2014, pig meat production remained steady at 90,000 tonnes.

Total red meat:
Total red meat production increased by 1% to 894,000 tonnes in March quarter 2014.

Chicken meat:
Chicken meat production in March quarter 2014 remained steady at 272,000 tonnes.
