Beef:
In the March quarter 2012 beef production increased by 1% to 530 thousand tonnes when compared to the previous quarter.

Veal:
In the March quarter 2012 veal production increased by 2% to 11 thousand tonnes when compared to the previous quarter.

Mutton:
Mutton production increased by 3% to 30 thousand tonnes during the March quarter 2012.

Lamb:
In the March quarter 2012, lamb production increased by 1% to 103 thousand tonnes when compared to the previous quarter.

Pig meat:
In the March quarter 2012, pig meat production increased by 1% to 88 thousand tonnes.

Total red meat:
Total red meat production increased by 1% to 762 thousand tonnes when compared to the previous quarter.

Chicken meat:
Chicken meat production increased by 1% to 254 thousand tonnes when compared to the previous quarter.
