Beef:
Beef production in the December quarter 2013 increased by 1% over the previous quarter, to a record 596,000 tonnes.

Veal:
Veal production in the December quarter 2013 rose by 2% to 10,400 tonnes when compared to September quarter 2013.

Mutton:
In the December quarter 2013, mutton production remained steady at 56,200 tonnes.

Lamb:
Lamb production in the December quarter 2013 increased by 1% to a record 119,000 tonnes when compared to September quarter 2013.

Pig meat:
In the December quarter 2013, pig meat production fell by 1% to 89,600 tonnes, compared to the previous quarter.

Total red meat:
Total red meat production increased by 1% to 871,000 tonnes in the December quarter 2013, compared to September quarter 2013.

Chicken meat:
Chicken meat production increased by 1% to 271,000 tonnes, compared to the previous quarter.
