Cattle (excluding calves):
In the June quarter 2013, the number of cattle slaughtered (excluding calves) increased by 2% to 2.0 million when compared to March quarter 2013.

Calves:
The number of calves slaughtered in the June quarter 2013 increased by 4% to 180,000 when compared to the previous quarter.

Sheep:
The number of sheep slaughtered in the June quarter 2013 increased by 18% to 2.6 million when compared to March quarter 2013.

Lambs:
Lamb slaughterings in the June quarter 2013 increased by 2% to a record 5.4 million.

Pigs:
Pig slaughterings in the June quarter 2013 increased by 1% to 1.2 million when compared to the previous quarter.

Chickens:
Chicken slaughterings in the June quarter 2013 increased by 1% to 142 million when compared to March quarter 2013.
