Exposure to scams was higher for people born in Australia than people born overseas (36.5% compared to 34.1%), although there was no statistically significant difference between the proportions of people who responded to a scam (3.0% and 2.8%).
People born in Australia were more likely to respond to a fake notification or offer from an established business than people born in non-main English speaking countries (28.1% compared to 18.4%).
